I've been there and I know how tough this parenting gig can be. But I also know that you don't have to figure it all out on your own. In fact, you were never meant to do this on your own. Which is why I'm so glad that you're here.



Individual therapy sessions provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to work through distressing emotions, thoughts and experiences. Together, we’ll figure out what’s keeping you stuck and come up with an individualised evidence-based plan to help you move forward. 

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic pain, chronic stress & illness, identity loss and trauma (i.e. fertility trauma, miscarriage, infant loss, birth trauma, NICU experiences, and postpartum trauma, including breastfeeding trauma).

I also have a particular interest in supporting clients with a history of childhood trauma and emotional neglect, helping you navigate the unique challenges that brings to your parenting journey.

What type of therapy do you provide?

I use a trauma-informed approach and draw from a variety of psychotherapies, including cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, emotion focused therapy, internal family systems, mindful self-compassion & sensorimotor (somatic) psychotherapy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What maternal mental health training have you done?

I've been trained with Postpartum Support International. Additionally, because our own wellbeing as parents is so deeply entwined with our children’s sleep (or lack thereof!), I have been  trained as an infant & toddler sleep coach, which allows me to integrate those expertise into sessions as needed. As well, my background as an occupational therapist lends itself to helping you better understand your child, their temperament, and their needs, so that you can better bolster your own resilience in the face of the stressors that come with parenting young children.

Can I see you for therapy if I live outside of Ontario?

I'm only regulated to practice psychotherapy within the province of Ontario, Canada. For parent coaching click here. 

What do you charge per session?

I charge $175 an hour

Are you covered by insurance?

If you have occupational therapy coverage, then yes, your sessions would be covered. If you have psychotherapy coverage, most of the time you will be covered as well, but sometimes we have to advocate for that coverage - which I'm happy to help with. Please reach out if you have questions about that.

Do you only see mothers in your practice?

I see lots of clients who aren't mothers, fathers included! I have a general psychotherapy practice as well, which isn't geared towards parents. If what you see here resonates with you please don't hesitate to reach out.
